Linn Carin Stenvig Andreassen
Linn Carin S. Andreassen (b.1985) has a bachelor’s degree in Library and information science from HiOA, now Oslo Metropolitan University, with a focus on information storage and retrieval. The subject for her bachelor thesis was how library could affect learning outcome in elementary schools, with a focus on staffing. Andreassen har previous work experience from archives, school libraries, education and project management from amongst others: County Governor of Oslo and Akershus, elementary and upper secondary school and union representation.
Next to her working life Andreassen has an extensive background in organizational work, both building, being on boards for and networking, control committee work, arranging conferences and festivals for a whole host of volunteer and student organizations within Norway
Though formally organized under the sentral NDUC staff, Andreassen works as a specialist librarian on location at the Norwegian Military Academy. Some of her task focuses on research support, educational development, teaching information literacy and daily library management.
Andreassen also teach information literacy and reference management on an undergraduate level.
