Henrik Hestetræet Johannessen

Commander Johannessen has operational experience has Chief Engineering Officer on board naval vessels in the NOR Navy. He has served in different positions within the Norwegian Defence Materiel Agency as technical authority for hull structure systems and as technical coordinator and has experience with management of maritime systems and certification of naval vessels. 

He was graduated as naval engineer from the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy and has later completed a MSc in Naval Architecture with distinction from University College London. Now, he holds the position as Military Lecturer in Naval Architecture at The Royal Norwegian Naval Academy where he teaches naval architecture, naval vessel maintenance, combustion/turbo machinery theory and fluid dynamics.
