Gro Thrane Øen (b. 1971) joined the NDUC from the Norwegian Defence Staff where she was Head of Section at the HR Department and has served as Commanding Officer at the Norwegian NCO School.
She has also served at the Ministry of Defence, Allied Command Transformation (NATO), and has experience from international operations in Afghanistan.
