  1. Positioned at the intersection of democracy, emerging digital technologies, and hybrid threats, my research investigates how technological developments shape democratic processes and resilience.

I examine how digital media and infrastructures influence political institutions, organizational practices, and information environments, with a particular focus on data-driven decision-making and algorithmic bias. I also study how digital threats interact with organizational vulnerabilities in democracies.

My work has also examined the dynamics of hostile and polarized communication in online political spaces, and how these dynamics affect political actors, public debate, and democratic representation.

I am currently serving as the Norwegian national coordinator for the European COST Action RELINK² (CA23114) on digital technologies, civic engagement, and political organization.
