12 March: Allied Air Forces at Andøya Air Station

Media are invited to Andøya Air Station and the participating units to witness their capabilities during the NATO exercise Nordic Response 2024.

Tentative Program:

Static display with Finnish Air Force 31st Fighter Squadron (F-18 Hornet), USMC 312th Fighter Squadron (F-18 Hornet), USMC 252nd Squadron (KC-130J Hercules) and French MPA Squadron (MPA ALT-2).

We are planning to conduct hot pit refueling from the American KC-130J Hercules to the Finnish F-18 Hornet. There will also be arrangements for a tour of the various squadrons participating in the exercise from Andøya, as well as filming the takeoff of aircraft.

There will also be opportunities to conduct interviews with representatives from the American, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, and French forces.

Media Requirements: Press card and ID (Passport or Norwegian driver licence, no digital driver license is accepted)
