11 March – Evenes Air Base (CORE 26)
The Norwegian Armed Forces invite media representatives to attend a media event at Evenes Air Base in connection with Exercise Cold Response 2026.

The event will provide insight into air operations and force protection activities conducted from Evenes, including contributions from Norway and the United Kingdom.

- Date: 11 March 2026
- Meeting time: 10:30 – For media already in the area.
No later than 11:00 – For media arriving by flight the same day
Please note that all participants must go through a security clearance process upon arrival. The in-clearance procedure will take approximately 30–45 minutes.
Programme (subject to change)
- Briefing on Evenes Air Base’s location, geography and operational capacities
- Static display of P-8 maritime patrol aircraft (United Kingdom and Norway)
- Interview opportunities with detachment commanders
- Take-off of F-35 Quick Reaction Alert (QRA) aircraft and P-8
- Visit to British and Norwegian Force Protection units, focusing on cooperation and further development
- Visit to Norwegian Air Defence (NASAMS)
The visit is expected to conclude at approximately 16:00.
