9 March: Media Kick-off Meeting
The Norwegian Armed Forces invite media representatives to attend the Cold Response 2026 Media Kick-off Meeting at the exercise press center in Bardufoss.
The meeting is open to all media interested in covering the exercise. To participate, please register using the link provided further down on this page.

This session will provide you with an introduction to the exercise and the media support framework. It will also be an opportunity to meet the Public Affairs staff, familiarize yourself with the press center facilities, and prepare for your coverage of the exercise.
The briefing will include:
- Welcome and introduction to the Public Affairs team
- Overview of Exercise Cold Response 2026 (purpose, scope, participating nations, and operational framework)
- Information on planned media events and coverage opportunities
- Guidance on media access, movement, and safety considerations
- Opportunity to ask questions and engage with the media coordination team
This meeting will help ensure that you are well prepared and able to make full use of the media opportunities available during the exercise.
We strongly encourage all media attending Cold Response 2026 to participate. Participation is possible both in person at the press center and remotely via MS Teams, allowing those not yet in Bardufoss to join and receive the same information.
