The course will introduce cadets to the use of air power as a tool by which to achieve military and political objectives. Cadets will gain an understanding of air power theory, and the historical evolution of air power, as well as discuss the past, present, and future of the Royal Norwegian Air Force in the context of Norwegian defence and security policy.  

The section Current Affairs aims to further develop the cadets' English skills and oral skills while shedding light on the international and historical contexts of current events relevant to the Armed Forces and the Air Force.
