25 March: Welcome to the Norwegian and Swedish field hospital at Setermoen

During Cold Response Swedish and Norwegian surgeons will work together in a field hospital at Setermoen.

Swedish and Norwegian surgeons working at civilian hospitals on a daily basis are also employed at their respective armies. During Cold Response 2022 they are working side by side at the Norwegian Role 2 Bravo Field Hospital.

Media representatives are welcome to a guided tour of the hospital and to observe ongoing duty outside and inside of the field hospital, and meet surgeons, officers, NCOs and conscripts for interviews.

The media event will be arranged from 14:00 to 16:00 on 25 March.

When to meet: Media representatives are asked to arrive at link up point – ARTILLERISLETTA – at 13.45 CET. Please bring press card and id.

About Cold Response 2022

  • Cold Response 2022 is a Norwegian military exercise with invited allies and partner nations. The field exercise started on 14 March and concluded on 31 March 2022.
  • There will be some minor allied training and activity in April, after the field exercise.
  • The first allied troops arrived in Norway last autumn and earlier this winter to train and prepare for the exercise.
  • Over 30,000 soldiers from 27 countries, as well as a number of civilian agencies have taken part in the exercise.
